Haha! Thanks, Arthur! Yep, we’ve been married a whole year. That flew by quick . You should TOTALLY bring your wife up here. The cabin we got is amazing, and this time of year is perfect since it’s still not quite prime vacation time.

Steve- Hey man, really sorry to hear about this. Sounds like it’s a bummer. I recently had to do a health screening at my work and found out I’m like overweight and high in everything you’re not supposed to have high. My problem is also hereditary, but it’s called laziness. Hoping to find a cure.

Thanks Kris!! I’m sure it will take some getting used to and I’m not super excited to take medicine every day, but it’s okay! It’s really not that big of a deal. Just have to find a doctor and get some medicine I guess

STEPHEN! I have familial hypercholesterolemia too!! My dad, mom, brother and I all take cholesterol medication. Granted my dad’s is actually hypertriglyceridemia but whatever…My aunt actually had quadruple bypass surgery when she was…wait for it…33! It’s a good thing you and I know about it now….

It does suck! I know. I found out about my cholesterol problem when I was 18 and have been on a statin every since. I’m now taking Lipitor 40 mg every day (well…more or less).

Don’t worry, the food thing gets easier. 200 mg cholesterol per day is kinda a lot anyways. Remember, you can have one egg with the yolk before it’s a little too much. Extraordinaire eggs taste just like the same thing. Oh yeah and exercise helps. This especially lowers the LDL (bad junk) and raises the HDL (yay good guys!).

It seems weird being under 25 and having high cholesterol, but trust me you aren’t alone!
